While lacking any official standing army, Qhevak possesses a large number of military grade PMCs and other organizations.
Hab Militias[]
Knights Aethra of the Entangled Order[]
The Knights Aethra are the primary military fighting force of the Entangled Order of Saint Teilhard. Unlike most military organizations in Qhevak, they are not for hire - they are only deployed to deal with legitimate threats to the Order and the Community more broadly, which means that they are very rarely seen - they have only been deployed outside of Qhevaks territory twice since its founding.
As a primarily defensive force, they are mostly naval, with "ground troops" mainly existing for combat in habitats. The Order does not care to occupy planets - if they sought to disable a planetary power doctrine would be to destroy all military relevant assets from orbit, followed by bombardment of industry until surrender.
Burning Quasar[]
Burning Quasar is a primarily spaceborne astroparamilitary force that serves as the unofficial militia of Moria and several closely associated habitats. Only a very small proportion of their forces are typically deployed out of Qhevak at any single time, with the majority of their forces maintaining orbit around Ullr - the plurality of funding is provided by Moria's governing intelligence and Strategic Network Intelligence Kokopelli as well.
Mission Group Roswell[]
Mission Group Roswell is a special forces unit run by Strategic Network Intelligence Kokopelli and WA Ambassador Bobby Tomlinson for NSEarth-based emergency strike operations. Including members recruited from a number of mercenary companies, Roswell operates a large number of stealthed nanoweapons, nearbaseline covert operatives, a former Hounds of Tindalos Rockhound company, and a dozen FA-111 Locust air support synthmorphs. They mostly operates out of deep ocean bases, with several stealth submarines and aircraft for transport.

Not all of Kumiho Clade are content with lazing around in the engineered biospheres, hunting creatures engineered to be prey. Some want to hunt threats that can really fight back, and not merely in an engineered challenge in VR or an arena. That's where the Hounds come in. Hounds of Tindalos is fairly small compared to some of the other mercenary companies operated out of Qhevak, but have nevertheless gained a reputation as a highly effective rapid assault special operations unit for hire, specializing in high speed blitz attacks into enemy weakpoints with their small and nimble Rockhound synthmorphs and Roc attack shuttles.
Shivastra[]
Shivastra Offensive Services is the largest mercenary company in Qhevak that's independent of a particular hab or clade, and the only independent company to operate a sizable force of Archangels. Founded in 1964 by the Naga Conclave, a collective of optimized AGI patterns that emerged out of the Oyuin's Bluebeam 63 iterated wargame, Shivastra has gone on to have one of the largest impacts outside of Qhevak out of any of the major players in the region, participating in a number of significant interstellar turf wars. Shivastra currently operates a sizable combined arms force with space-land task units sufficient to take over many planets. They've also began to operate a very sizable autowar division in recent years, with a number of autowar units in active service protecting startup Gamma Quadrant colonies from piracy.
TGV Operational Security[]
Supposedly an up-and-coming PMT mercenary company with a founder of mysterious origins operating on NSEarth, TGV Operational Security is actually a covert puppet co-operated by Shivastra, Hounds of Tindalos and a number of armament distributors for the purposes of plausibly deniable covert operations. The majority of TGVs operational personnel are recruited from NSEarth, although Qhevakian nearbaseline humans typically serve as squad leads, while a good number of Ems are covertly integrated into a large amount of their technology.
TGV is currently relatively small, with a several special forces companies, a light air wing mostly running transport and ground attack and independent paramilitary operational officers.
Stella's Strikers[]
Stella's Strikers is a biowar mercenary clade formed out of iterations of "Stella Sajnovic", a self-replicating bionano organisation that supposedly escaped two centuries ago from a military experiment lab in Delta. While not much is clearly known about the organism's past, what is known is it's extraordinarily virulent opposition to all forms of human supremacism - while officially a mercenary company which demands payment, this largely appears to be an excuse to kill as many human supremacists as it possibly can.
Red Avalon[]
Red Avalon is a small scale mercenary operation force specializing in low profile covert operations, including assasination, information and memetic warfare, guerilla training, high profile security, kidnapping and extractions. Since it's founding by Disestablishmentarian elements two decades ago, the force has gained a reputation for being a consistent and highly effective service provider without moral qualms. Run in a distributed fashion through delocalized cells acting independently, the force lacks central control to such an extent that separate Red Avalon units have sometimes found themselves on opposite sides of the same conflict. The only real coordination that allows it to be called a singular company is mutual sharing of combat knowledge and occasional resources between cells.
